I cant believe Chloe is almost a year old!

10 days until my baby is no longer a baby :( she becomes a toddler, a little girl. However, she will always be my baby.

I'm really excited about her birthday party. I invited truckloads of people so I hope our apartment will suit everyone comfortably, I'm very worried about it. People in my family and Steve's (Chloe's father) family are bringing some food to help me out and I am very thankful for that. Now all I have to do is make sandwiches, and make (or buy) a fruit tray. Then find some party supplies. I may check out the party store here in town to see if they have anything special.

I got her a lot for her birthday. Lets just say she is spoiled. I went to a cute store here in town called Ellomenopee, it has unique toys from around the world for decent prices. I bought a lot of Chloes Christmas presents there aswell. I found some great things. I got her a flashlight that looks like a firefly, a music box (I seen it and instantly knew it was for her), a puppet princess with dresseswigsandjewlary, and lastly a raincoat set and new soothers for her Stella doll (below)

OH GUESS WHAT!?

My baby is beginning to walk.. we just upgraded the 3 steps to 5 with an extra dive or faceplant (sometimes both) to me or the floor. She can also stand now too! So excited but so sad, I want her to stay little forever.

Sleep update and other stuff!

I think Chloe is getting a lot better. She understands when she is tired and curls up to me. I like that feeling because I haven't felt that in months! I'm still having trouble with the whole crib transition but I think she will warm up to it soon enough. It's funny because she sleeps in a crib/playpen at her grandparents house's fine... but at home, she won't do it!

Like I said, Chloe has been eating a lot better. I only feed her bottles before nap time/bed time. Otherwise she has food and juice. Today she ate almost a half jar (the bigger jars) of blueberries and a ton of cheerios. I have never seen someone love cheerios as much as her. She perfers them over Mum-mum's and Aeroroot crackers. Whatever she likes, she gets.

Also, we are moving in a few weeks and she is getting a whole new room. I have lots of ideas! Her Great Grandpa is building her a bench/toy chest for her birthday. It will look something like the one below, which on Amazon is over $200... so free works for me ;)

I'm also putting a canopy over her crib :)
And then I ordered a chandelier for her roon... I'm trying to make it Princess like without being too over the top. I was thinking Disney Princess themed.. but really, this is my opionion, the new thing they are doing with the Disney Princess furniture/room decor looks very cheap to me. If you have it, I appologize! Haha it's just my opinion! So with that being said, I'm going to try to decorate it the best I can :). I'm painting the room a light pink and putting white flowy curtains up.

I didnt expect Chloe to be sleeping in her crib wonderfully overnight but WOW, I never thought it would be this stressful either.

Tonight I noticed Chloe was rubbing her eyes and getting sleepy. It was quarter to 6 so I wasnt sure how she would sleep... naptime or bedtime? It is now 10:30 so I guess bedtime. I shut off the lights, turned on some beethoven, heated a bottle, and rocked her to sleep. I waited about 15 minutes then put her in her crib. Most times she wake up I just give her a soother and rub her back then shes fine.. other times I have to actually grab her out and rock her again. The good news is that she hasnt slept on my bed at all. I hope she sleeps a bit longer tonight without waking but I guess I will have to wait and see. I skipped routine today because Pantly suggests going straight to bed otherwise your child may become overtired and stay awake extra hours. So I listened, and she is sleeping so early now.

It is weird having this extra time to myself. I really dont know what to do when Im not at her side rubbing her back. I have to be extra quiet so that limits the things I can do. Because right now we live in a loft type room together, I cant exactly turn the tv on. However, Chloe has always been a good sleeper through noise so I may just keep it on low volume for now on when she is falling asleep so I have something to do!

All these tips have been working wonderfully and the book does point out that after a few days (or weeks) of doing things like patting the back, ect, the baby will no longer need that help and sleep through the night. I hope this is true. Otherwise I can see her coming back into my bed.

Lastnight she slept in her crib until 6am. She woke up once at 3am (which is normal for her), for a bottle, then back to sleep in the crib she went. I let her come to my bed at that point because really an hour or two wasnt a big deal to me. However, sleeping in her crib from 3-8 am is what I am really working on.

Ughhh, I hope this works.. I am really dedicated!

She ate another big meal for dinner and that really helped! We also went for a long walk today.. first time in her new stroller and she loved it. She talked the whooooole time.

I am going to keep this up!

Chloe will be a year old soon! Where has the time gone?

Today I took Chloe sledding for the first time. She loved it... she screamed at me and laughed the whole time. Then she started hanging over the edge to touch the snow. She`s just so freaking cute!

The sleep training is getting better but I am still having issues. I want Chloe to sleep in her own bed. So lastnight instead of bringing her back to my bed... I made a bottle, went directly to the rocking chair, fed her, and tried to put her in her crib. After that we spent about 45 minutes awake. I did notice that she would lay with her eyes closed, falling asleep when I rubbed her back... but, soon as I walked away she started to cry again.

We have been following a bed time routine and so far so good. We do playtime, eat dinner, bath time, and usually story time or watch some Moose A Moose.

Today we went sledding then came inside and I made her dinner. I heated up some beef noodle and she ate the whole bowl! Which is awesome for her because she rarely eats much. Then she tried yogurt for the first time and LOVED it. She also ate half of a farleys biscuit and some pear juice. I hope her eating habits get better. Then I have her a bath and I could tell she was already tired because she wasn`t playing as much as. As soon as I layed her down with a bottle she fell asleep. She has been sleeping since 7pm and I hope she sleeps good tonight. I realize that for her age waking up twice a night is not bad. She always wakes up once and as soon as I give her a soother shes okay. The next time is around 3am and she needs a bottle. This is fine I just wish I could find someway to make her comfortable in her crib.

If anyone has ideas of their own I would appreciate if you shared them with me :)

I will begin to update more!

Since I last wrote so much has happened.

Things Chloe can do:

Crawl - very good and fast I must add.
Say 'mum' (her first word) and 'dad'
Beginning to sound out other words like 'nana', 'poppa', and 'baba'
Stand up (while holding onto things)
Pick up heavier objects
Play by herself and with others
Share (very good at this)

and so much more!

Right now I am starting sleep training. Chloe has been sleeping in my bed (not that I mind) and is still getting up once or twice during the night. I would also love for her to sleep in her crib for nap time. I was recommended this book:

Anyways, Chloe has had a lot of first. First Halloween, first Christmas. For Halloween she got to carve her own pumpkin (Well, I did and she just kinda licked it and was grossed out...) and she dressed up like a pumpkin AND a penguin.

Her first Christmas was great. She was a very busy girl and usually the life of the party. Chloe got A LOT of toys from Santa, her family, and I. She is certainly one spoiled little girl!

I do apologize I haven't written! I didn't have the internet for nearly two months!

A lot has happened. I don't even know where to begin.

I moved at the beginning of July. Into a house with my sister and her boyfriend (they bought it), Chloe and I live in the 'loft' above the house. I really like it here and I think Chloe does too. Theres a yard to play in and my mom just bought her a pool for the yard.. I plan on getting a sandbox but I am in no rush, cause I don't want her to eat the sand haha.

Chloe is doing so good. Over 14 pounds now and I don't even know how long, VERY long. She's teething, but no tooth. She's been pretty good and happy with it for the most part. She can kinda sit by herself, roll over, and she is already trying to crawl. She eats a lot! I just started her on baby cereal and she loves it.. except it would be much much easier if she didn't talk the whole time lol. I have also been giving her pear juice once a day. I'm not sure if she likes it or not, its hard to tell. Some days she will drink it in too seconds and other days she just plays with it. Chloe has been eating 8 oz bottles for a little over a month now, about every 3 hours or so.

I love her so much. Everyday is something new with her.

Well I hardly have time to blog anymore, but since I have a few minutes...

Chloe is amazing. My heart is filled with love for her. Shes getting so big now, I have to take her to a weigh in because he next appointment isn't till June 30th and I want to know how big she is getting! She took her two month shots very well, just slept allllllll day!

Chloe is beginning to sleep in her crib a lot more but if I try putting her back in her crib after 5am she will either stay up or have a funky half-awake sleep. Still, shes doing pretty well. I have to get up once or twice to feed her but I don't mind.

Shes beginning to play with her toys and she really enjoys her swing. I put toys above it and she seems to like them a lot. One of them is crinkle and each time she does it shes so surprised!

I let her taste icecream off my finger, she didn't like it cause it was too cold. I also let her suck on a pickle for a second, it was hilarious.. her face was priceless. Umm what else could I tell you?

Hmm, well one of my friends is pregnant, due November 27th. I'm pretty excited Chloe will have a friend and we can do playdates. I'm excited about the shower because my nanny, my mom, and I are all going in together to but her something big. But I'm also buying her some smaller, useful things like diapers/wipes/bottles/ect.

Anywhoo, I will try to update soon.

Its been awhile!

I realize its been over a month now and I appologize! I'm just going to do a quick update since I'm pretty busy.

After I stopped breast feeding Chloe was really constipated.. to the point I had to use suppositories in order for her to poop. I tried everything to help her out and finally I swiched the formula to the lower iron brand and she can poop fine now! Thankfully! She was so upset before so It's nice to see her happy and not crying all the time! Haha. I have taken her for a few walks when its nice out. We recently went to the park with Brittany and Sam.. I used the snuggili because my stoller is weirdly complicated and I can't get it down to put into the car. However, she did like it and fell asleep during our walk in the park.

Shes smiling lots and everyday is something new with her! Chloe began to notice her toys on her swing and loves her tummy time. We also watch treehouse every morning which she seems to like also.

Hmmm.. I'm not really sure what else to say! I'm going to try and update more often! Hopefully a new youtube video soon with Chloe!

I'm so in love with her.

Breast Feeding

Breast feeding is way more difficult then I thought it would be. I wanted to do it for at least 3 months or until summer came. Unfortunately that won't be happening and I'm really upset by it because its our thing. Its the only thing I get to do with her, that no one else can do. I have to stop because Chloe likes to eat more milk then I have, which caused me to supplement. The mixture of both breast milk and formula was too much for her. She was having problems going poop and the past two days shes had an upset belly.

I'm just really bummed out that I could only make it two and a half weeks. Plus, formula is quite expensive.

Meet Chloe

Hi everyone,

I'd like you too meet my gorgeous daughter Chloe. She was born March 1st at 10:33 am and weighed 7.4 lbs, 20 inches long. She has some light hair and blue eyes.

I know its been awhile... BUT here she is...

I started having back pains the day before around 1:30 pm as the day progressed they were getting pretty bad. Later that night I was laying in bed, about to take a nap when I started having contractions. At first they were about 8 minutes apart and I wasn't sure if they were contractions so I messaged my mom to By the time she made it over, contractions were about 4-5 minutes apart. I didn't go straight to the hospital because I was told if it wasn't 3 minutes apart they would send you home. I went to the hospital not long after and the nurse sent me home because I was having "false labor". I went home, layed in my bed for another two hours and went back to the hospital. By then I am laying in trioge, contractions speeding up, back labor, no medication... for hours. Finally around 6 am or so, I'm put into my room.. still no meds. I keep asking for the epideral and all I kept hearing was "we have to wait for the doctor". The nurse FINALLY suggests phetenol until I can have the epideral.. I don't know where she was when I was saying "I don't care what it is just give me something". The gas mask was horrid and phetenol took away the back pain. THEN I was told I couldn't have the epideral, and the phetenol ran out, me = not happy. Then the doctor goes poking around to break my water, hitting Chloe's head in the process.. my water had already broken, just not a big gush. I finally had her after 15 minutes of pushing. Her cord was wrapped around her neck, but luckily she was fine. So the hours of pain, worth it.

I have been super busy the past week and I have been meaning to get on here and youtube to update everyone. I have been breastfeeding and it has been more difficult than I had imagined.

God, I love her so much. I can't believe she is here! She has brought the sun into my life and I couldn't be any happier (well... maybe with a tad more sleep haha). Chloe is a quiet baby, hardly ever crys, dosn't like bath time yet, prefers to sleep about 19 hours out of the day, loves laying with her mommy, gets fusterated easily when it comes to latching on during breastfeeding, likes to go pee when changing her, and mostly.. she loves laying skin to skin, and so do I! I could lay all day with her.

Gotta run, She just woke up!

Wow, its been 9 months already. TODAY is the due date!! I'm in disbelief to be honest. Mostly because 9 months ago, I wasn't aware of this.. wasn't prepared. I never imagined how much I could love this little girl. I never thought I would be a mother this soon and I really never expected this in my wildest dreams. I guess thats whats great about life. Chloe is the greatest gift, my reason for being here. I can't wait to see her, I hope she comes soon!

I'm really getting anxious and antsy. If I don't have her by Tuesday I have an apointment with my OB. I'm not sure whats going to happen at that point so I'll guess I'll wait to see if it comes down to that. I've been feeling pretty good. For the most part I have a decent amount of energy... that is, until I actually do something. Yesterday I vaccumed two rooms and did the dishes, I was pooped the rest of the day. Today I just took it easy and didn't really do anything :). I have spurts of energy and then spurts of tired, exhaustedness. I have been feeling pains as shes moving down further and shes still moving LOTS.

I'm so excited. COME NOW CHLOE!!!!!!! :D

Friday is the due date.

I'm really excited, anxious, and to be honest.. a little nervous. I'm not nervous about labor or pain, but about bringing her home. I know I can take care of her, but I also know I'll be calling my mom about a few things too lol. I guess I'm just nervous because shes my first child and although I have babysat and been around babys, nothing prepares you for being a parent. I have everything I need and I know I'm going to be a great mom. I can't wait to meet her. Everyone is so excited, but I don't think anyone is as excited as me. I don't really show it much sometimes but I really can't wait. My friend Amber just had her baby on friday. Hes gorgeous and looking at pictures made me want to cry because of how soon I get to meet her! Everyone wants her out right now, but I don't mind spending a few more days just me and her. I enjoy feeling her kick and roll, although the pains are starting to get at me lately. She will come when shes ready and I'm as ready as I can be, waiting. I hope shes healthy and happy.

Well Chloe should be done growing now! Doc said that she grew a little from last week and her heart beat and everything is all good! My appointment went well, he didn't check how dialated I am or anything. I don't have an appointment next week because my doctor will be out of town for the week :(. Hes hoping I'll have her next week so I don't have to be induced or anything... and although I want her to come so bad, I can wait for him to get back haha. We made an appointment for March 3rd when hes back and he said we'll talk about setting up a date to be induced and all that! I've been having pelvic pains and I've been pretty exhausted

38 weeks

Sorry again for not updating as much! I'm not about 38 weeks! My original due date is the 27th but I've been given the timeframe pretty much from the 26th to march 3rd. Either way, Chloe will be here soon. Chloe is fully grown by now, maybe gaining a little bit more weight as she stores some fat for birth :). Her organs are developed, however the lungs take a little longer.

I'm really excited to see her but the last few days I have been really exhausted. I've had some pains in my side a few times, but all is well. The doctor said its either her foot or her pressing against my kidney. He also said she must have hit a growth spurt and hasn't grown much in the last 2 weeks... so if she hasn't grown by the next appointment (which is tomorrow), he's going to book another ultrasound to make sure everything is okay. The pelvic exam was okay, her head is moving down and shes getting into position. Chloe is still moving a lot, especially for Josh haha.

I have another appointment tomorrow where I find out the results of the swab and another pelvic. I'll also be posting some pictures up of her room soon because its mostly unpacked and put away now :).

Today I had the hospital tour, it went pretty well. I think I spent more time answering the same questions I have to keep answering. I'm pretty sure the nurse was asking me the same questions I was asked five minutes prior to meeting her, and she had the sheet with everything on it right in front of her... I know its their job, but really how many times do I have to say I don't have a disease and never have? haha. Other than that the maternity ward was pretty nice, however I was hoping to run into a baby and I never seen any :(. The jaccuzzi is what I was most excited to see, and I was disapointed. I can't wait to sit back in that! I also learned that only my parents, the father and his parents are aloud in the waiting room. No friends, sorry everyone :(.

I also had a really bad pain in my side today. It lasted for about 3-4 hours and progressivly got worse. I took a bath to see if it would feel better, but no luck. My mom said it was probably just the way she was sitting, so I layed down with a hot water bottle and felt better.. still have a slight pain now but nothing to worry about. Chloe was still moving lots so all is well with her :).

I have a appointment with the OB tomorrow. I'm getting the swab and all that good stuff! Now its a meeting once a week until shes born. I need to remember to ask about epiderals and all medications I could possibly take. I don't want Chloe to be too drowsy so I don't want to take too much or something that could make her overly drowsy! Must remember! AH!

I know its been a few weeks since I've done this and I'm sorry!! I've been super busy.

Today I bought pink pants for Chloe, they are cute.

Soooo 36 weeks. Thats a month left until I see my little girl :). Chloe probably weights 6 pounds or over now and is probably about 19 inches long. Other than that I'm full term now, which means I can have her any day now! I go to see the OB Tuesday. I'm getting the pelvic exam done to see how far dialated I am and all that good stuff! I still have to go pick up a few more things and pack my bag (which I should do soon just incase!!).

That was my quick little update but Chloe's been moving plenty and seems to be doing good!

Sorry I haven't written much lately. I've been super busy. Steve and I are no longer speaking after he put me through a lot the past few weeks. I'm still living in the same house as him too. But the reason I have been so busy? I've gotten my own apartment, that I move into this coming friday.. 6 days! It's a great place and it will be just me and Brittany until Chloe comes :). It has a good sized living room with carpet, this will definitly come in handy for tummy time. Theres also a yard we are able to use anytime, also good to take Chloe outside! It's also on the first floor, which means no stairs!!! YAY! This will be good for me, and Chloe especially.

I've decided I'm going to breastfeed for sure, or at least try for awhile and see how it goes. I went to wal-mart lastnight to look at storage bottles and I'm going to have to go get some, seeing as they were on sale for $5. I also went to look at sleepers for 0-3 months and they literally had none, I was disapointed. I have tons of onesies and few sleepers. I'm going to have to go shopping once more before she comes to pick up a few last things. I still have to pack my bag for the hospital. Speaking of hospital, I tour the maternity ward on Feb 2. Then I have an appointment with my OB on the 3rd.

She's coming so soon :) I love her so much.

Chloe is moving a lot now! More than usual lately... sometimes it hurts though! Shes been positioning her feet in strange positions so I can't lay on my side. I love feeling her though :). She still loves baths and music too.

I think Chloe has been hungry too... yesterday we ate some cereal for breakfast, a whole Arbys combo (which I can never finish), dinner at her grandparents (steak, 2 helpings of salad, 2 helpings of rice, and broccolli), and then later Aaron treated us to pizza. We had two slices of pizza and some candy too :).

But we were both pretty tired and fell asleep while watching a movie around 11:30... It was nice going to bed at a decent time, although I woke up twice during the night.

Thats pretty much the only thing we have going on right now until Tuesday.

We found out yesterday morning and it was so exciting. I've gotten a few pictures too that I'll post up too. She is about 5.6 lbs already! From there she will most likely gain a half pound a week until the due date :). I think thats great because I'm so small, I was afraid she would be too. Its good to hear that she is doing so well. She also has some hair and the tech said its really fine and about 8mm long so far :). I'll find out the rest of the results at my appointment on tuesday with Dr. Asher. I hope she is doing good and is healthy :). Since the ultrasound she has been moving non-stop and I have been trying to catch it on camera.. but its like she knows lol. I haven't really caugh her yet but I will soon! I've been meaning to post this but I've been so busy and exhausted.

So this week I am 34 weeks. You already know shes 5.6 lbs :) and somewhere around 17-18 inches long. At 35 weeks her hearing is fully developed, which means I have some more talking to do to her :) haha. Her central nervous system is still maturing and her lungs are almost fully developed.

Today is 33 weeks exactly :). Baby probably weighs a little over 4 pounds now and still at 17 inches. Baby should be turning upside down and its head should be pointing down. Babys skull is still quite pilable and not completly joined (so it can get out easily). The rest of Babys bones are hardening and its skin is starting to loose its wrinkle and red tones.

I have an ultrasound this Tuesday :) woopie!!! I also like my doctor, after hearing a lot of stories (most of which I heard from Steve.. so haha what do guys know), I was nervous about having him. The only problem was that hes going to be gone for the last week of February - during my expected due date. I'll be seeing him next January 20th and then two weeks after that... then it will be once a week until delivery. I'm really excited, mostly for the ultrasound and to see Baby. Not too much longer now :).

The appointment went well. I have an appointment every two weeks then in February every week. Unfortunatly my doctor will be out of town the last week of February. But good news is that next Tuesday I have a ultrasound :) yay, we might be able to find out the sex! My next appointment with Dr. Asher is on January 20th. I'm sooooo excited, I can't wait to see baby again :)!!! Then I'll be able to super organize everything.

Most of the organizing is done now. I have to organize more clothes tomorrow by size and sex. I have put away all the neutral clothing so far. I also hung some pictures on the wall, including the ultrasound. So far its looking pretty good.. I will have too post some pictures soon.

We have everything... but I think we're going to have to go splurg on some socks for Baby. We have plenty of diapers and wipes too. I love going through everything, it just makes me more excited everytime. My Poppa is also making the baby a cherry wood bassinett that rocks. I seen a picture of what its going to look like - amazing, I can't wait. I also can't believe how small some of the clothes are too :). I'm just soo excited!!!

Appointment on Tuesday. Hopefully all goes well with the OB and we get another ultrasound. I want to see Baby so bad! See how big and active Baby is.

It's new years eve and I am 32 weeks :). Baby weighs about 3.73 pounds and is still 17 inches long. Baby is also practicing breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid. Baby may also start growing hair on its head :) yay hair. If its a boy its testicles will begin to decend from its abdomen into his scrodum.

I've been feeling Baby's feet pushing out of my belly.. the first time it scared me but after getting used to it, its kinda cool :). I love feeling baby move, but I still can't wait to see Babys little hands and feet myself.. 8 more weeks!

I just moved into the new appartment with Steve and Brittany. Today has just been unpacking.... fun. I haven't even gotten to Baby's stuff yet, but thats on my list to do this week. Almost 32 weeks, wow. I just can't wait. A few of the people I have talked to on youtube that were pregnant, had their babys.. that just makes me even more excited.

Not much to really update with, Baby and I are both doing good as far as I know. Appointment on January 6th, we'll find out then I guess! But Baby is moving a lot still, not as many hard kicks.. more soft ones and rolling. I tried to tape it but Baby must know I'm trying and then stops haha.

31 weeks!

The baby is still moving a lot, plenty of hard kicks and rolling. However, the movements are going to slow down soon enough as our little Baby is going to have less room. Baby can now move its head from side to side, its organs are beginning to mature, and the layer of fat continues to be laid underneath the skin. Baby weighs somewhere around 3.3 pounds (but remember babys start to develop differently in size, so who really knows?). Its also been shown that Babys start to dream around 8 months, so my little babys sleeping and dreaming away.

I have been feeling even more exhausted lately, even breathless at some points. My sleeping pattern is still pretty bad, it was good for a few days but I'm finding myself feeling wide awake around 2 am. Rediculous, I know. Baby still loves baths and naps too. So.. I must take more, haha.

I'm also pretty excited that we have bought everything. Time to peice it all together and organize it all. My Nanny has also been looking to get me a Bumbo chair, well my Aunt Sue, but anyways... I've been looking into them and hearing such great things that I really wanted one. But gesh they are so much. So I decided if I couldn't find one used, I'd go without until I couldn't live without it haha. Anyways, she called the other day and we're getting one for the baby.. a lime green one, as we don't know the sex yet.

January 6th is our first OB appointment. I'm really excited and really nervous. I'm excited because I'm hoping we might get another ultrasound (I mean its only fair.. I've only had one at 17 weeks!). I'm nervous though because I've heard some bad things about the doctor. I'm not really too worried because the way I see it he will just check how far dilated I am and then get the baby out.. still it's my little Baby and I don't want anything to go wrong. Still, you can't listen to other stories and I have to go into it with the best thoughts. Steve has been worried about him too, but I feel like I have waited long enough for this appointment, theres no turning back now. Plus, we only have 2 other doctors in town. I think all will go well though.

I just can't believe its going to be 2009, closer to my due date, and I'll be a mother... just crazy. I also can't wait to put away everything (I think I've mentioned that before lol).

30 weeks, 72 days until my due date. I'm so excited!!! I just want to see the baby now. How bad is that, I'm only 30 weeks and already impatient... this is going to be a long ten weeks. I guess the only thing left to do is organize and put away the babys things and pack my bag for the hospital... I'll do that in January. That way I have something to keep me occupied.

Anywhosss, 30 weeks. The baby is still 17 inches long and possibly just over 3 pounds now. Baby won't grow much more length wise but its weight will start to pick up within these next few weeks. Tracking the babys weight is now getting difficult as babys grow in different sizes. Whats your guess at how much our baby will weigh? I don't have one yet. The babys brain is developing more for life outside the womb. The brain can now take on tasks like temperture regulation :). This means that the baby will start shedding its lanugo.

OH BABY! I'M SO EXCITED.
I only had about 4-5 hours of sleep lastnight. I woke up and just could'nt fall back asleep. Now I have a bit of a headache and might lay for a nap sometime soon.

Almost a whopping 30 weeks, o m g! 10 weeks and 2 days :). Baby has been moving a lot lately, and especially this afternoon.. but I'm not complaining, I love it. I have been working on my sleep scheduale.. no more sleeping in after 12, that way I can get to sleep at a decent hour! But I do want to take naps and whatnot all the time, I just don't want to stay up all night ughh haha.

I took a few pictures the other day, I'll post a few up. My friend is taking pictures tonight hopefully so I can give them to everyone for Christmas!

Only 11 more weeks left! YAY.

Baby is around 17 inches and 3 pounds. Baby is coming close to its birth length but still has lots of weight to gain. Over the next 11 weeks, baby will double its size. The weight is accumulating from under its skin right now. But as baby gets bigger, I'll feel less kicks and more pokes and jabs.. exciting!

I've learned how to make baby move :) by just taking my two index fingers and going up and down on my belly, baby usually kicks and moves around. I had my bloodwork done today finally... that drink wasn't too bad, I thought it would have been worse by the way everyone talked about it. It tasted like orange pop, just less carbonated and had a slightly bad after taste.

80 Days To Go!!

Only 80 more days until my due date and boy I am super excited!!!!! Lastnight in the bath baby moved like crazy, making the water ripple and my belly jump. Lastnight I talked to baby for one of the first times since it has moved. I feel this amazing connection and so much love for you :). You have the most loving parents in the whole world so I can't wait to give you everything you need and be by your side every step in your life. Each day I prepare for you a little more and I become more anxious, nervous, and more excited than ever. 80 days can come sooner, really.. if you could be in my arms right now I would be so happy :) but I'll let you finish developing and growing first!

I was supposed to go for my bloodwork this morning but I slept in because it was probably one of the best sleeps I have had in months. Although Im going to work on going to sleep early so I don't sleep until 3pm haha. Lastnight I tried sleeping at 3am and ended up laying there for over an hour with my eyes wide open. I want to be able to at least be in bed by 2, is that so difficult? Agh. I'll go for my bloodwork tomorrow morning.

I'm writing this right before I run out the door to prenatal class..

It's winter here and I hate it! I hate ice and snow and everything slippery. I'm constantly slipping, I think I need boots with grips. But thats besides the point, I did slip once and fall the other day, I landed on my tail bone (which really hurt and now my back is in pain!) and luckily my friend (who is becoming a paramedic/doctor) was there to help me and make sure I was okay. Baby has been moving normally and a lot still so I'm sure its fine, however I am a little worried still so I'll tell my doctor on friday when I'm there. I'm sure everything is fine with baby and luckily I'm the one paying for it.. not baby. I also woke up to my whole body just aching! I mean my muscles in my legs, arms, and stumic (ab region?) were, and still are, in horrible pain. Ouchhh. I don't know what I did when I was sleeping but I feel like I ran to China and back. Ugh.

Other than that, thats all I have today... just thought I'd let everyone know whats going on.

28 weeks, Into the 7th month already!

Today is 28 weeks exactly, wow. Into my final trimester, wow.

This week baby is 2 and a half pounds and about 16 inches long (told you brittany and sam!!!). This week baby is blinking. Baby can already cough, suck, hiccup, take practice breaths, and now blink! YAY. Oh and this is interesting, the baby may already be dreaming due to all the REM (rapid eye movement) sleep the baby is getting :). The lungs are almost fully mature by now, which makes it easier for the both of us to breath (thank god). But our sweet little baby still has a lot of growing to do.

Baby has been moving plenty today and seems to enjoy sitting higher now, which kinda irritates me since I can't sit properly haha. I've been getting a few pains in my stumic, but again its probably just my uteris stretching or baby pushing hard. Still, I'll be sure to bring it up to both my doctor and the OB when I see him. I go January 6th and I'm both excited and nervous. Excited because that means were close to seeing baby, but nervous because I don't know what to expect. I hope I like our OB haha.

Prenatal Class

We have one more left next week then its more waiting and anticipation.

This week was all about breast feeding. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to or not but I thought it would be better if I learned about it. It seems like a healthy, more efficent choice but I just don't think I could breast feed for that long. I know you can use the pumps and everything but I feel like I'm already really busy as it is.. however getting formula ready for a crying baby might just be the same amount of work. I also worry about having to just pull my boob out in public and in front of people... I don't really feel comfortable with it to be honest.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet but its good to have all the information!

89 days until my due date. I just can't wait to see your face and have your tiny fingers hold mine. The thought of seeing you makes me tear up with happiness because I know seeing you will change me for the. I already know I can never love someone as much as I love you. Your what I look forward too all day, everyday. Your on my mind every second and it amazes me how much I care for you.

Seeing you is going to be the best feeling in the whole world. It's going to make everything better and worthwhile.

27 weeks and counting!

I'm 27 weeks already and that seems like such a long time when I think about it. This is the last week of the second trimester, wow. From head-to-toe baby is about 15 inches, thats more then a foot! Baby is also weighing little over 2 pounds now. The baby now has more taste buds then it will at birth. This means that baby will be able to react to the different foods that I eat, like hiccuping or kicking. Awe my babbyy :).

I feel awfully small still at this stage in the pregnancy but all is well.. as far as I know. I can't wait for the first OB appointment, then it will feel like babys finally coming. I can't believe I haven't had one yet though, a little odd if you ask me. The baby moves around... a lot, and because I'm still small I can almost see every movement.

I'm still having trouble getting to sleep at a normal time. Going to bed around 3-4 is just unacceptable but I can't help myself. When I try to lay down, I find myself laying there for an hour or so, bored and thinking too much.

The prenatal classes are still going good, we have two more left. Steve missed the last one and I was a little disapointed because I want him to know as much as he can, and that class was ment for him haha! It was all about what your couch can do in the situation and leading up, although he already talked about that a bit in class, I thought it would be good for him. Oh well, I'm sure he'll do fine when the day comes. The next class is about breast feeding. I'm not sure if I'm going to breast feed or not but I figure learning about it can't do any harm.

Stretch marks!

I noticed the first of the stretch marks today... luckily for me when I do get stretch marks their a whitish-light colour rather then red and bright! ha. I have been putting on cocca butter just incase too. I guess I've never been one to worry about stretch marks or anything like that anyways, besides when I see baby... that will be the last thing on my mind!

This week at our prenatal class we learned all about nutrition. It was mostly about the future, when our baby will be old enough to eat solid foods. I learned a lot though and I hope Steve did too lol. Baby has also been kicking a lot this week, espeically today. Oh did I tell you we have our first OB appointment? January 6th. I think thats a little late considering the due date is February 27th. But what can we do!? :( Ah well.

This week baby is about 15 inches and weighs little over a pound and a half. Babys eyes are beginning to open now and continues to breath in (only water and fluids right now). Brain development is also very speady right now :). Also Baby is growing really fast, YAY.

What else........ I think thats it for now.

Baby Shower

The baby shower was so awesome. I was glad to see everyone, I wish it could have been longer! Unfortunatly its flu season so not everyone could make it :(. I did however get a video and lots of pictures I just have to gather them from everyone and post them up. We received a lot of gifts which took me awhile to organize and put away. Charlene made me a diaper cake - make from receiving blankets, socks, and a crib sheet. I loved it and I tried taking a picture of it before taking it apart... but it didnt work out!

Heres a list of some of the things we receieved:
Diapers, on-the-go changing set, tummy-time pad, shoes, blankets cloths (with a cute little octopus toy that i love), lots of soothers, sissors and nail clippers, lots of recieving blankets, more clothes, toys (rattles, teething toys), musical tigger that sings lylabyes, baby powder, wipes, hooded pooh towels, bibs, bottles (I love the classic pooh ones), boucning buddie, a rubber ducky, babys first year and photo book, stuffed animals, diaper bag, spoons, 3 peice pooh dish set, 12 peice pooh bath and clothing set, socks, a painting from brittany, slippers, and swaddlers... I may have missed a few things ha ha.

I loved one thing in particular... which was a gift from Steve to the baby. Although he didnt go to the shower, he bought the baby a bear blanket. I thought it was adorable that he went out and got something :). I also got a few things for myself like: A day at the spa, bubble bath, socks and little accessories, and a gift card (I wanted to buy more stuff for the baby but she told me to spend it on myself!).

Im really thankful for all the gifts we recieved, now it feels like everything is finally coming together. I think Ill feel better once the crib is setup and everythings in place... until then it sits in the closet.

Thats about it for today... I have to go get ready for our prenatal class.

25 weeks, 1 day

This week baby is about 1.5 pounds and 9 inches long. Capillaries are forming under the skin and are filling with blood. By the end of the week air sacs lined with the capillaries will develop in babys lungs. Babys nostrils are also starting to open up this week, which allows baby to take some practice breaths before its arrival. Vocal cords are now functioning, which is why I can feel those little hiccups already :).

Had our appointment this morning with the nurse practioner, it may be our last appointment with her because we're going to start seeing our OB very soon! Yay, that means another ultrasound soon enough!

Everythings going good with baby and I, we're relaxing and trying to get a lot of sleep. The baby shower is this Saturday I cannot wait to see everyone there and see all the gifts for little baby.

Bath Time!

Baby loves bathtime... I stop the water, let it sit still, until.. baby kicks and the water ripples like rain hitting a puddle. I love it. I have stuck to baths for the past month, maybe two now. I find it a lot more relaxing and I don't have to stand around sooo thats a plus ha ha!

I did however take more belly pictures yesterday. 24 weeks and 6 days! Here they are... [yes I am in my underwear and bra but I wanted to show just how much the belly has grown in the past few weeks!!]

Yayy, belly!! It's so weird though, sometimes I can notice it and other times I can't even notice that my belly has grown at all. Depends on how baby is sitting and what I'm wearing too I guess. But I'm absolutly in love. I can't wait.

Oh me and Steve went to our first prenatal class this week. The theme this week was delivery and oh pooh.. my memory totally blanked as I was typing this. Well anyways!! It was great and even Steve got into it more then I thought he would, even asked some questions! We did breathing excercises and learned about the different stages and contractions. I'm not nervous about the pain or anything really, if anything I'm more excited then ever.. the pain of contractions and everything really dosn't scare me at all (even though I have the worst pain tolerance ever). Although I have been told the baby is fine I'm just more worried about any complications at birth. Mostly because this day is not about me, its about our baby coming into this world and although I am a big part of it I do realize that its my job as babys mother to do everything I can do that day. I'm just nervous that something will go wrong with baby more than I am worried about myself is what I;m trying to say.

We also have another doctors appointment this thursday, woo. And I also have to go do more bloodwork, the kind where you have to drink that sugar water (I'm just not to excited about sitting around in a waiting room for an hour). Other than that, thats all the news I have for right now but I figured I should do a little update!

Baby is about 1 1/2 and around 8 1/2 inches... bigger then fruit :). The babys starting to gain weight faster each week, which is baby fat, growing organs, bones, and muscles. Its face is almost fully formed and it now has eyelashes, eyebrows, and maybe some hair on its head but there is no pigment in the hair yet... so its as white as snow.

This week has been good, lots of movements and a few hiccups. Next week we start prenatal classes and have an apt on tuesday. My baby shower is also next weekend, can't wait.

23 weeks and 5 days. I have a lot of time left to go, but it seems to be going by pretty fast. I would like it to go faster so I can see your face and feel your tiny hands grip my fingers. I can't wait to build your crib, to finally bring you home. I can't wait to give you your first bath, your first bottle, and even change your first diaper. Everything will all be worth it in the end because I have you. I don't need anything else but you. You are my light, my star. Baby, you already make my day with just a kick. I know that we are going to be great parents and we're going to have such a great family. It's the three of us and I'm so happy it is. I'm counting down the days until I see you and although it seems to go by fast, I want it to go by faster. I want to hold you. I can't believe I could ever love someone so much, someone I haven't even met. Thinking about you and feeling you makes me smile and almost cry when I think about how much I care about you already. Your my angel. I'm sure your dad feels the same way, even though he can't feel all your movements, your hiccups, or your rolls. I know that hes excited and that he loves you. I know that he can't wait to see your face and those tiny hands. We love you so much baby.

I got the red wings onesie I bought online today... soo adorable. It says "Born a Red Wings fan like daddy". I showed Steve and although hes not oh-so-excited about clothes and baby things like I am, his smile said it all. I'm going to have one confused child, between the red wings onesies and the leafs outfits.. ah. Oh well it should be interesting lol.

I love you baby, more then anyone could know. Every heartbeat I love you more and more. Feeling you move around and kick has to be the greatest feeling ever. I always smile when I feel you moving because I know that I will get to see you so soon. The funny thing is that even though this isn't exactly how I had 'planned' my life.. I wouldn't trade anything in the whole world for you and this experience. You mean so much to me and I haven't even met you. Your pretty much the only thing on my mind and I just can't wait!!!! I think I have said that already but YAY. I'm not really scared anymore because I know you will be wonderful..

Week 23!

Week 23, which means almost done my second trimester, which means I'm now completly done my 5th month! See you soon baby :).

I start prenatal classes this month, both Steve and I will be going. I'm excited to learn more about nutrition and breast feeding because I really don't know much about either one.

So what happens in week 23? The baby has wrinkly skin which is because it has more skin than fat, meaning in the next couple of months the baby will begin to develop fat. The baby is about 8 inches long and just over a pound now. By the end of this month the baby will be double the weight it is now. Right now the organs and bones can still be seen through the skin, but the baby is developing blood veins and arteries underneath.

I love learning about baby :). I can feel all the movements it makes and I can now see my belly move too. When I sleep on my side, I notice that the baby seems to drift over to the side I'm laying on... So when I wake up or roll over I have a lumpy belly... silly baby. Sleeping is still a pain and when I went to buy a pregnant pillow they were all out, hmpf :(. It's like there was a million pregnant women in wal-mart and I bet they all had one! Not me...! In other news, someone still keeps stealing food from the pregnant girl! ARE YOU CRAZY!? I mean the snickers bar is one thing, but c'mon... porogee's and oatmeal, I mean seriously. I left a funny note on my bedroom door (which is right in the kitchen basically) to the theif(s). I hope they see it tomorrow, I know who the one is.... I just thought it would be funny. Pregnant women can be scary... and you should't make them upset or eat their food...

22 weeks! Hi baby!

22 weeks today. Its all going by so fast! The baby weighs about one pound and is 11 inches long. The baby is really thin and lanky because it hasn't developed any fat yet, making it look wrinkly. The lips and eyes are fully formed, except the iris still lacks pigment in the eye. Cool!

I've also been looking for maternity clothes, its hard work. There is nothing cute besides the summer clothes on sale and lets face it... its freezing outside, summer clothes are a no-go. I did buy a shirt from walmart because it was on sale and I need some. I also need pants, unbuttoning every chance I get. I also bought two other shirts that wern't maternity but they could work!

Hmmm what else? Oh lots of movement still and my belly button is starting to get all hard and such for when it pushes out. Oh and I'm getting one of those jellybean pillows, hopefully that will be a little more comfortable.

I am 21 weeks today! Thats a little past the half way mark, yeppie! So I'm getting behind in blogging again... I'm sorry! Exhaustion has controlled my life, climbing 4 stairs feels like climbing Mount Everest.

In 21 weeks, the baby is about 7 inches long, 11 ounces. The baby is also swallowing amniotic fluid, why? This gives the baby a taste of whats on the menu... meaning it will develop a taste for what I'm eating (I guess its going to have good taste!). Arms and legs are in proper proportion and neurons are now connected between the breain and muscles. Oh and cartilage in the babys body is now turning into bone.

I told Steve earlier this week that we should put the baby in kick boxing... seeing how much it loooooves to move and kick. Either that or acrobatics. I love the feeling of touching my belly and feeling the movements and kicks. It feels like the baby and I are communicating in a way... I love it.

OH AND!!! I've finally gained some weight, a whopping 3 pounds. Never in my life have I been happy about gaining weight. The heartbeat is also still at 130 and the ultrasound results were good, we have a healthy baby so far... and we will :).

We've been keeping busy though and now its time to start getting excited for the baby shower since its less than a month now. Yay!

I'm outty though, I'm going to take a bubble bath!

Lastnight at 2am, the baby kicked and for the first time I could feel it... I put my hands on my stumic and just felt baby move and kick for about an hour. It was probably one of the greatest feelings ever. I told Steve about it and hes really excited to be able to feel the baby kick.

19 weeks already and still no big belly :(. Ah well, I'll blow up soon enough I guess.

This past week I went to register at Wal-Mart with my sister and Brittany. All went well and I think (I hope!) I put down everything I need for baby. If you want to look at it online you can do that at the website, its under Kaity Angelski. I'm really excited for my baby shower in November. I'm mostly excited to get everything I need and to start organizing it all.

I know its only saturday but seeing as I have time today I'll fill you in on week 19! Baby is now 6 inches long, at about half a pound (about the size of a large mango). The baby is now covered in a protective coating called Vernix Caseosa, which protects the babys skin from amniotic fluid (and its a good thing too, or else baby would have wrinkly skin!). Thats it for week 19, but growing half an inch each week.. yay :). I hope all is well in there.

Oh my mom also bought me this cute shirt that says "Special Delivery" and some maternity pants... the kind I like. Not with the stretchys in the front. Finally, jeans I can wear with out wanting to continually undoing the buttons.

Other than that, nothing too exciting. Still having some stumic pains... but I think it might be that I forget to take my vitamin somedays or that I lay uncomfortably. I need a good pillow.

I'm exhausted. What else is new.

The Craving: A Snickers bar

You guessed it! I've been craving a Snickers bar for, oh lets say 2 months, and it was stolen! Right out of my own room, how rude! I've got to say I'm pretty bummed out because I can't find them anywhere. I was saving it for the moment I wanted chocolate, the moment I would sneak into my freezer and eat it all up... I guess that day won't come.

You know what else sucks? Walking 6 steps, changing my pants, walking back 6 steps, being out of breath. I'm exhaused, out of breath, tired. I get lots of sleep, rest, and if you ask me I'm not that lazy, so why so out of breath?

I'm also always forgetting things, its awful! I try to remember the best I can... but it always seems to slip my mind, no matter what it is, no matter how many times I'm reminded. I wish I could have a pole 10 inches from my head with a sticky note of things to remember... unfortunatly I can't. It would also be uncomfortable and get in the way.. so thats out the window. Have you ever tried to remember not to forget things? Just terrible.

Anyways, its night time.. I should sleep.

Week 18, welcome to the fifth month everyone! Especially you little baby :). We have been talking a lot about the baby shower, or the two I guess I will be having. My sister is hosting the one here in town which is good cause she seems pretty excited. Tonight I made the guest list. I know some people won't be able to make it, but it's the thought that counts at least!

So what happeneds at 18 weeks? Our little baby is now 5 and a 1/2 inches long and 5 ounces! The baby is learning how to yawn and hiccup, which I guess mommy witll be able to feel those little hiccups soon enough :). Baby also has its own figerprints on its fingertips and toes. How exciting!!

I keep looking at the ultrasound pictures. I know that day was life changing. All I can remember was seeing my little baby and its heart beating away. Nothing can replace that moment, I can't forget that feeling and the smile so big on my face.

I also love feeling the baby, even though sometimes its not the most pleasent feeling in the world. I have been getting these upper stumic cramps lately and my Mom says its probably the babys feet. Funny little baby, moves all day long.. but not at the ultrasound so we can find out what colours to buy it. I also told my work about the pregnancy. My manager was pretty surprised but she took it well and asked if I wanted less shifts and she told the other supervisors so I don't have to lift heavy things at work anymore (Yesss!). I also wasn't feeling good and the heat was getting to me, so I left work a couple hours early. I just layed around the rest of the day. But I have been feeling super exhausted lately... even from doing the tiniest of things. I guess thats what pregnancy does for you.

I'm a little sad however that my bump isn't growing that much yet. I have felt the baby, heard the baby, and seen the baby... but for some reason, it dosn't exactly feel like I'm pregnant all that much because I can't see for myself. I mean the symptoms and seeing my little angel was proof enough.. its just I can't wait to get a bigger bump and feel baby kick.

I also need help posting my youtube video... again, sorry its been long! I can't format it and I dont have the patients to do so.

So today went well. We seen the little baby, our little baby. Now its sex is still a mystery. Baby wouldnt move its legs so we could see what it was :(. Other than that we seen the babys heart beating, its mouth moving, and the rest of its cute little body. I couldn't be happier. All I want is a healthy baby.

Other than that everything else is going good and my next appointment is october 14th. I'm also going to book another ultrasound so we can figure out what the baby is.

Today, ITS TODAY! It's in two hours!!! Time to get my drink on... of water that is. Okay and I kinda couldn't sleep lastnight. It was horrible. I kept thinking, boy or girl? what names? how big is baby going to be? is baby going to be perfect like i imagined? Too many thoughts crossed my mind. When I did fall asleep I kept having dreams. Most of which contained baby boys.

The outcome dosn't matter to me. Because in the end, I have my miracle and thats all that matters to me anyways.

I'll be sure to fill everyone in ASAP! After all the calling and texting I'm going to have to do this afternoon. And expect a new youtube video soon.. hopefully that is.

Tomorrow! Its tomorrow! Okay, I need to contain my excitement, but EEEE!

Okay... okay. My sister and her boyfriend asked what I wanted from them for the baby today. After awhile of choosing back and forth from a crib to a stroller, I decided a crib. I want new furniture and everything for the baby. I can't wait to do some more shopping on my own, and with Steve. I know most people get excited about buying clothes, but I'm actually excited about buying the baby bath things. Likes shampoo, baby wash, little towel wraps, clothes, and toys. I'm excited for bath time.

I'm also really excited about getting the baby books. I've already started buying them and I keep looking over which books I want to add to the collection. Its all so exciting. I've been looking at a lot of baby einstein books and toys for baby.

Thats enough, until tomorrow! Because I know tomorrow is going to be the greatest day ever... that is until baby comes.

Week 17, and what an exciting week it is! Why? Because the ultrasound is in 2 days! I'm seriously so excited. Also, this morning I got Steve to feel my stumic because you can feel its heart beat... he look kinda scared, but I know hes excited! It was cute because it was the first time he really felt it.

I'm sorry to everyone who reads this, I keep meaning to write more and I keep meaning to make a new video blog also. I'm just so busy or exhausted. I'll try to write more at least.

This week our little baby is palm-size, about 5 inches long, weighing 5 ounces :). The babys body fat is also beginning to form and babys skin is so thin that its still translucent. The baby also began to practice sucking and swallowing and its heart rate is now regulated by the brain. Eeeee!

I've also been spoiling myself with lots of healthy snacks and okay... I might have a snickers hidden somewhere too. Me and Baby went shopping the other day, and unfortunatly Baby won and I bought lots of goodies. Talk about braking the bank.. already! Just kidding :). My Mom did however, by me another baby book which I am really enjoying. It has a lot of stories, myths, and old wives tales in it, plus some recipies I want to try.

TWO DAYS, COME SOONERRRRR! I can't wait to see you move and wiggle. I can't wait to see you in a few months. Love you.

16 weeks and do we have movement! Babys been moving around like its on caffine or something. OH, doctors appointment went well. Heard the heartbeat again and got measured. The doctor says about 17 weeks - from the last period date. I say 16 weeks, since I know the real story. In other news, Mommy and Daddy are together finally :) yay.

At 16 weeks baby weighs 3-5 ounces and is about 4-5 inches. Its muscles are getting stronger and its body is straightening out more. Baby is also making eye movements and is sensitive to touch (apparently if I poke my stumic the baby can feel it and possibly move.. cool!).

Its been awhile for updates, but I've been super busy. I'm also super tired, so I'll catch you later!

It's been 15 weeks already? Times flying... which is a good thing.

Lets see now, at 15 weeks the baby is about 4 1/2 inches and weights about 2-3 lbs! Baby now has the cordination, strengths, and smarts to wiggle its fingers and toes, AND suck its thumb :)! How cute. Baby can also breathe, suck, and swallow. It's also getting quite the workout.

16 days until I see you!!!

16 days! Can't you just come sooner? I mean really, do me a favor.

Lately, I have been feeling uncomfortable with people touching me. My bellys not big, I have a small bump... no need for all the touching of the stumic and whatnot. I don't know why it makes me feel like that but it does. I can't image what its going to be like 2 months from now... with all the strangers and whoever touching it, save me!

I really hope we find out the sex asap. I want to buy cute little outfits and everything. Although I have never really thought about what I wanted that much since I have gotten pregnant, I think I would generally like a boy. Either way, I will love baby sooo much, the result dosn't matter whatsoever to me. I just always thought a boy would be nice to start off with. According to the polls and the babys heart beat; its a boy. Who knows? Steve and all my friends all think its a girl. I think the girls just want to play dress up for the most part ha! But they all have their heart set on a girl. Won't they be disapointed if its a boy? Thats why I don't have my heart set on either :).

I took a bubble bath, it was nice. I also go to the washroom a million times a day now, its driving me nuts. Plus, sleeping is being a pain also. I need to buy a phoam pad or whatever those things are for my bed... and many more pillows.

Speaking of sleep, I think I'll go to sleep right now.

I was extreamly sick yesterday, but that could be due to the 5 hours of sleep I had. Not doing that again. I think I scared Aaron and Mike yesterday when I nearly fainted... thanks to them though :) or I probably would have.

Todays good though, so far. I'm just super excited for the ultrasound.

Hello and welcome 14 weeks!! You know whats exciting? I woke up this morning and felt on my stumic... I pressed it slightly and could feel my uterus.. TMI? I don't think so. It was cool since I never have felt it before.

So whats happening with baby this week? Let me just tell you! As everyone knows, its the beginning of the second trimester, and know baby is growing at different paces. Baby is the size of a clenched fist, towards a straighter position as the neck gets longer and the head more erect. The baby might also be getting some hair :). Eyebrow hair and little hairs called "Lanugo" are growing over baby. Lanugo is a little coating of hair that will shed, but for now its keeping the baby nice and warm. It will shed when the baby has its own coating of fat. Oh exciting!

My Great Grandma also gave me a bear that my mother had given to her on her wedding day. It's kinda cool that she gave it to me for the baby. I put it on babys dresser already!

I went to my friends party lastnight.. Gotta love being pregnant, I'm the one that gets sick and I didn't even drink. Since then I feel terrible and I wish I could sleep all day, everyday.

Today I took a hot shower and felt quite dizzy afterwards. So I sat on the bathroom floor for a few minutes and made sure I was good to stand and move around. Thats happen a few times now so I know to be careful. I also ate a bowl of kraft dinner today and felt sick afterwards. I haven't been hungry recently though. I know I should eat so I do :).

Anyways, I feel good and have been. Still can't believe I'm 3 months. 6 more to go! I'm one third done, yay! Me and Daddy couldn't be more excited.

13 weeks, the last week!

This week the baby has finger prints aswell as the organs and veins are clearly visable through the skin. Babys body is also catching up with its head and the babys just over 3 inches long. I don't have my book with my today to give everyone all the details but thats still pretty exciting.

Today I took my little brother,who is just turning three soon, to the new splash pad and pool which has many different sprinklers and things for children. We also went to the park and played for an hour. I really enjoyed this and it made me realize how great of a mother I am going to be.

We also took some pictures.. one of which, you can really see that baby bump. I guess I never realized it too much until I seen the picture!

Just an FYI, I did feel baby! I DID! Yesterday Steve says "I was talking to some people and they said you wouldn't be able to feel it at 12 weeks." I know I felt it. But I decided to do some research and what did I find? Women from ALL over the world feeling their babys from 10 weeks on. Now I haven't felt baby since, and from what I have read I might not for a few more weeks.. Dang :(. I just thought I would let everyone know, that I did infact feel my little angel. It wasn't gas!

Steve also showed me what he made for the baby. He went to build-a-bear and built a Panda wearing a cute little soccer outfit. Adorable. We are going to be awesome parents. We also decided to go baby shopping soon together. Mostly to pick out certain types of things and start stocking up.

Its crazy to think that I'm 13 weeks already. The last week of my first trimester. I'm so excited for the little baby, why can't you just come sooner?!

Thats it for today, I'm exhausted.

I bought baby a book today! The first of many. Its called "Oh, Baby, the Places You'll Go! A Book to Be Read in Utero" by Dr. Seuss. I thought it was a cute book because it introduces Dr. Suess, one of my favorites, and his many books. After looking at all the books I can't wait to get them all! Robert Munsch, Dr. Seuss, Baby Einstein! So many!

I also bought a little something for myself. A pregnancy journal with so much in it. It has fill in question/answers, quotes, advice, tips, a countdown day-by-day, and most of all a day-by-day of whats going to happen (you know how much I love that!).

Today I also noticed that I'm almost 13 weeks, the end of my first trimester. I'm excited. The reason? Miscarriages [most] take place in the first 3 months. I'm glad I won't have to worry about that. Cause I love my little baby :).

I'm also WAY excited about getting everything put together and set up. Can't I just do it now?!?! But I'm going to start organizing and getting things to organize all this stuff because I already have a lot! I just need more space!

Anyways, thats all for today.

I was about to take a nap, when I felt this little feeling. At first I didn't think it could be little baby. Seeing as its still so small. But I remembered my Mom telling me its like a butterfly feeling, so I knew it had to be! 12 weeks, I'm surprised. I'm looking forward to this feeling more often :).

I realize I haven't written in a week and I appologize! I've just been super busy with work and everything.

Todays exciting though. 12 weeks and the babys 2 1/2 inches. Thats a lot! It weighs about half a pound now. Most of the body is created it just has more developing to do and the digestive system is beginning to practice contracting which will help my baby eat :).

This is all just oo exciting. I love my little baby and I couldn't be happier. I was talking to a friend who pointed out that the love of my life will be here in a few short months. I just can't wait too see baby and for my life to change at that very moment I say Hello.

Picking out names has been difficult. We have two girl names Chloe and Alexis that we both like and no boy names we can decide on. Its complicated! But I know in the end we will choose a name we both love and we still have some time to decide.

I've been feeling good lately, a little feeling of dizziness when I'm out in the sun too long. But all is well :).

I just got back from my appointment. All I can say is WOW. Babys heart was beating at 130. I heard it within seconds, we could also hear the baby moving around. It was the most amazing thing. It really makes this seem more real and made me more excited than ever.

Today I'm at 11 weeks. During 11 weeks the baby is just over 2 inches long and weighs a third of an ounce. The babys body is straightening out and the torso lengthening. Hair folliclesm finernails, and toenail beds are all beginning to form. The nails are also creating individual fingers and toes. If its a girl its ovaries are developing. Oh so exciting!!

I'm also really happy to be video blogging, although I still enjoy writing more. Through video blogging I have met a few pregnant women going through the same thing as I. It makes me excited and motivated. I'm really happy to have lots of support through friends and family, and even those I have met online. Its great getting to know more about peoples experiences and sharing mine.

One minor note: I have noticed that if I forget to take my vitamin at night I feel sick the next day. I must remember to take it!!

I didn't realize so many people were reading. I like that everyone is, its better you read this then having to update everyone seperatly. Not that I mind really, but blogging is so much easier.

I'm going to start posting pictures and perhaps some videos on youtube soon. I will still continue my blog because I absolutly love writing it. I also thought making the baby, or keeping the blogs for myself, in a book afterwards would be a good keepsake. I also want a reminder of this experience because its a huge part of my life. Its changed me so much and I've already learned a lot in the short time I have known about baby.

I'll update some more later. Me and baby are going to make grilled cheese and noodles!

P.S. Lastnight, I went to 711 and bought sunflower seeds (salted ones), ketchup chips, assorted candy, and a hotrod. I realized then, that was the baby picking out the crazy combinations. The hotrod was also BBQ which I thought smelt gross, but tasted surprisingly good. Pregnancy is a funny thing.

It's the 10th week now. Baby is about an inch and a half. It's getting so big and I can't wait to feel it kick. I realized this weekend that boy or girl, dosn't matter to me. Either way I won't be disapointed. I know that baby is already a gift and that I already love it way to much to be disapointed.

This week baby is moving its elbows, its knees and ankles are forming aswell. Babys bones and teeth are also starting to form. And baby is taking full advantage of its digestive system as is starts to produce digestive juices and the kidneys produce more urine... sounds yummy. AND! If baby is a boy, his testes start porducing testosterone.

Learning about what happends each week is so exciting and I love learning what happends with my baby as it grows. I wish I could see it all happen, but I guess I'll wait till the heart beat next monday.

Not much going on till then. I have to go get my blood work done this week, not exactly looking forward to that but it has to be done.
